Thanks to all nine of the writers/illustrators who attended the workshop on Saturday, Oct. 11. I had a great time! There was a lot of material to cover... I hope everyone who attended got lots of resources and is writing SOMEthing every day!

Class Description: Make a book for a child you know, or get ready to publish. Many bestsellers began life as one book for one special child… Peter Rabbit was written for a nephew by his aunt. We will explore easy to read texts and basic storyboarding. Ginger will present an overview of the children’s publishing world: categories, submissions, query letters, agents and critique groups. From 3 - 5 pm Ginger will demonstrate and assist book making with paint, markers, photos and pictures. No art or writing experience needed. Bring one favorite children’s book to class.
